Editions and plans
An edition chooses the industry modules. A plan chooses the depth inside those modules, and the user and warehouse limits. A higher plan includes the lower one. Custom is a negotiated set of modules and limits. Add-ons are extra modules on top of the edition, including payroll on Reef. Extra users and extra warehouses raise the plan limit. Portal users and deactivated members do not count.
Core in every edition and every plan: master data, finance (including VAT returns, fixed assets and depreciation, period close, and country packs), sales, purchasing, inventory, and HR basics. Those statutory finance features are never an upsell.

Limits and read-only access
Company profile shows the plan, what is included, and what is read-only. Creating a user or warehouse past the limit asks you to add capacity or upgrade. Buying extra users or warehouses raises the limit. A downgrade, expiry, or suspension keeps the data: screens stay available for reading and for CSV, PDF, and report export, and writes stop. Existing companies keep the access they had when editions shipped.
Requesting a module
Profile menu → Company Profile shows your edition, plan, usage, and anything that is read-only. A Uktupus admin sets the edition, plan, add-ons, and extra users or warehouses from the company license. The Licenses catalog has three tabs: plans, editions and add-ons, and archived packages. Prices are set there. Archiving hides a package from new licenses; licenses already sold on it keep working. A price change applies to new licenses and renewals. A license already sold keeps the price from the day it was created, including extra users and warehouses at the unit price from that day. The company license shows that sold price and the monthly and yearly total. The module appears in the sidebar at the next refresh.
What licensing changes
- A module shows in the sidebar only when your company has it and your role can read something in it.
- Roles can only grant permissions inside licensed modules.
