Companies & users
Your company's data is yours alone; users can belong to several companies and switch between them.
One company, one set of data
Everything you create — partners, products, documents, journals, employees — belongs to your company. Nobody outside your team can see it, and your team only sees companies they have been invited to.
Users, memberships, roles
- A user is a login (e-mail + password).
- A membership places a user in a company and carries that user's roles in that company. The same person can be Administrator in one company and Viewer in another.
- A membership can be linked to an employee record (for HR self-service: My Work, leave requests, payslips) or to a partner (for portal access).
Company switcher
If you belong to several companies, switch from the sidebar header. The sidebar, permissions and dashboards change with the active company.
Changed someone's role?
Role changes apply the next time that user logs in. Ask them to log out and back in.
Company Profile
Profile menu → Company Profile holds identity (name, tax ID, address, logo), default currency, country and compliance pack, default costing method, working hours, food-safety switches and warehouse layout defaults. Under Documents, set the default printing language for PDFs when the partner has no language (override still available on each print) and whether to open print after save.
Data export
Settings → Company → Data export (owner only). Request a full dump of this company's business data as Parquet files in a ZIP (one file per object). Before each export, an 8-digit code is emailed to the owner (expires, single use, limited attempts). The job runs in the background; when ready, another email includes a download link that expires. Secrets (passwords, tokens, digests) are omitted. Maximum one export per day. Requests are audited.
Groups
Several companies can form a group for Finance → Consolidation: intercompany links, currency translation, eliminations and group statements. Each company still keeps its own books. You can only add a company to a group, or link it as an intercompany counterparty, if you are a member of that company with consolidation access — otherwise group reporting and auto-mirror journals could reach another tenant’s ledger.
